2015 Master Builders Association Excellence in Housing Awards – Winner for Contract Houses $1million to $1.2 Million.

 

This home is set in the charm and warmth of Bellevue Hill with established gardens and dense vegetation typical of the area. The architect designed the house as a reinterpretation of a traditional bungalow home with distinct elements characteristic of period houses such as: gable roof, front porch and picket fence.

 

Orbit was involved in the entire design and documentation process with the architect and structural engineer, allowing for critical decisions to be made on all aspects of the construction project. Everything was dealt with early on in the project thereby allowing a fluid building process with minimal issues. One of the major building requirements was to implement ‘strong attention to detail.’ Considerable time was spent collaborating with the architect to ensure all aspects of the project were handled with precision and care; working through all the important details of the house both internally and externally.

 

The outcome was a huge success with our team of professionals ensuring that the strong sharp lines of the house were clearly expressed. This was effectively achieved due to our close working relationship with the architect and client, guaranteeing a wonderful outcome for everyone.
